Five out of the 6 are cracked/crazed around the base. Of the 5 that have cracked, one actually leaks.
I bought a set of the clear Zak Design Triangle 18 1/2 oz. tumblers in 2007 -- those are thick-walled and heavy. I made the mistake of giving those to my son for use at college and bought these because Amazon only now offers the blue and aqua (aqua? blue? seriously?) version of the triangle tumbler.
These new ones are thin and somewhat flimsy and NOT dishwasher safe, no matter what the claim is.
These will soon be part of my local landfill.

Schmelzer These glasses look and feel good but if you buy them do not (inspite of the claim they are dishwasher safe) put them in an automatic dishwasher because they will crack around the heavy base. They were cheerefully replaced by Amizon and now we don't put them in the dishwasher and they are holding up just fine
