I thought this would be sort of a frivolous purchase, and i only bought it because all the accent colors in my kitchen are this shade of lime green. But i have to say that I use this handy little colander EVERY SINGLE DAY. It's great for rinsing fruit that I'm cutting up for my son, or steamed veggies that we're having for dinner. I use it when i open a can of beans or corn to rinse them off. It's adorable, it's sturdy, it's small enough to not clutter up the cupboard, but big enough for most any job you need it for, it goes in the dishwasher and comes clean easily. I don't think i could live without this colander now!

By Plano Gal I bought this for my husband to strain his boiled eggs in, and it works great. He also uses it for fruit, and it suits that purpose as well. It fits nicely in the top of my dishwasher. Overall a nice sturdy little stainer.
