More orange than red Jan 12, 2008
By A. Alden Nice bowl, stainless on the inside and some sort of plastic on the outside. I chose it because of the fire engine red that it appeared to be in the photo. It is a deep orange. At first I was certain that it was a mistaken shipment, but then I looked again at the orange and red on the website and I was shipped the correct bowl. So if you are trying to add more red to your kitchen, this isn't it. I am keeping it because it is still a nice quality bowl, but it won't be sitting out on my countertop.

By Diane Galante I was the luckiest gal in the world when I was able to get one of these 5qt. Zak bowls at a Home Goods store for $15 on clearance in apple green. I kick myself that I hadn't bought more in other colors & smaller sizes when they had more of them on the shelf. I use it for EVERYTHING! Very sturdy, great stainless steel on the inside, sturdy no-chip, no-scratch enamel finish or whatever it is on the outside. It has the rubber ring on the bottom for no skid, I just slip a pot holder under the bowl if I need to spin bowl while mixing stuff by hand. So why would I get another at FULL PRICE off Amazon?? - because they are worth it! Actually, my sister saw mine & LOVED it so I ordered her one for her Hostess-at-Christmas gift. I just wish they still came in all those great bright vibrant colors that they used to come in...
