Works well on a mix & match bases with the other colors in the collection or if you want to have an assortment all one color. Tight fitting lid hasn't allowed for any bug invasions but this size is too small for emptying out a 3lb bag of flour into. Because of the simplicity of the design it can probably fit in or outside of cupboards but also into any kitchen decor.
