Tea from Victoria Mar 29, 2010
By Kathleen Stewart This is a lovely book with photos to entice you into preparing a real tea from scratch. I still miss the "old" Victoria magazine and this book seems to have captured much of the charm of those early days.

"Save the Cheetahs!"
I have yet to see a book published by Victoria that was not phenomenal! This book covers so much and the photography is outstanding! I have only tried a couple of the recipes, but they were easy to do and turned out great!

Ah, the Wonders of Teatime! Jul 03, 2011
By E. Walcutt Brown My mother was an Englishwoman and I was raised with tea and often visited my family in England when I was a child. I miss the years when my mother was with me. She always taught us the very best things about her homeland, and of course, teatime is one of them.
I already had The Charms of Tea from the the original Victoria magazine which I've loved for years. My understanding is that this book combines other tea titles from Victoria including parts of The Charms of Tea. It is an excellent addition to my collection of English tea books. This book that contains many recipes from their previouisly published books and combines some of their exquisite photography while adding some new photos and recipes.
If you've never never had your own tea party, this book will get you dreaming of a gentler life and a lovely way to entertain friends. A great antecdote for our busy lives today. This book will show you that tea needn't be stuffy and formal but relaxed and joyful. Victoria's The Essential Tea Companion includes many exquisite photographs that will relax you and restore sanity and order. I do urge you to try the recipes in this book. All that I have tried are marvelous.
