5I LOVE THESE!!!!  May 13, 2010 By Crystal "AMAZON FAN"
I searched all over for ties like this. No one has them. QVC had a set of 12 package holders that came to $26 with shipping. These are so perfect and easy to use. They're very tight even on big vegetable bags. Perfect on bread bags and anything else where you used to used those paper covered wire twists that the paper falls off or even the plastic ones I used to save from other packages. They were such a nuisance to tie and untie. These are wonderful, wonderful. So simple and so useful You can use them to tie plants to a post or hold vines up with no damage to your plants as it they feel like soft rubber. Every household should have these!!!! My cheapest and one of my most useful purchases from Amazon.

4Neat product  Jul 14, 2010 By R. M.
These are really great for resealing bread bags when you lose the little metal ties; they also work well for frozen vegetables, snacks, etc. They hold tight and are easy to use, but can be a little difficult to pull loose. These would be really cute to use on gift baskets, too.

5Six Inches of Silicon That'll Go the Whole Nine Yards  Jul 11, 2010 By Zeke
In this universe, some things must be invented: the Pyramids, the Printing Press, the Internet. Other things must be discovered; things that simply could not exist if not for the Grace of an infinitely wise, profoundly loving God. Relativity. America. Women.

And now these. These are, in fact, the greatest discovery in modern human history, an order of magnitude greater than duct tape. They are to usefulness what Mozart was to music, what puppies are to warm fuzzies. Not since the discovery of breast implants has silicon been at once so useful, practical, and beautiful.

A little green leaf. It's like a little piece of tree. And who doesn't like trees? Cave-dwelling terrorists? Probably. British Petroleum? Definitely. But every other living organism on the planet loves trees, even fish. Fish love trees so much they even love fake trees. If they didn't, why haven't they returned all the plastic Christmas trees we've tossed in the sea?

The first thing you'll notice when you hold one of these is how sweetly and naturally it rests in your palm, not unlike the hand of your newborn child. Gently holding the base of the leaf between your thumb and forefinger, you'll notice at once the precision-molded circlet. Some would call this a "hole," but that implies emptiness; darkness, despair, and the absence of reason. The circlet is none of those things. It is Life. It is Hope. It is the expectation of a glorious promise yet to be fulfilled. Its placement is perfect--not near the tip or randomly in the middle as if done by a mindless slug--but near the base, the foundation, where all good things are strongest.

Next is the tail, a slender segment of perfect dimensions, imparting a sense of inner joy with its playful wiggliness, but assuring us that it has both plan and purpose.

Curve the tip of the tail round and thrust it manfully through the circlet and what have we created? Exactly so: the Ouroboros, the most ancient symbol of cyclicality, of the coexistence of Alpha and Omega, a primordial unity of force that it simply cannot be extinguished.

Now onto its usefulness. What can it do? Everything. Want to tie up a bread bag? Problem solved. Manage your computer cables? Handily. Provide a temporary, non-conducting fastener solution for a mission-critical component in the hunt for the Higgs boson? Done and done. Impromptu sutures for a botched Hari-Kiri? Domo arigato, Mr. Roboto.

And the best part? When you use them, you won't just feel smarter, you'll actually be smarter. You will raise your consciousness and hear Angels of the Thrones and Dominions singing Handel's the Hallelujah chorus. Use two at once, and you might just hear Yahweh happily tapping His toe.

So: you can buy some of these and be a part of all that and the continued economic well-being of the World, or you can wander in the Outer Darkness for all eternity.

Despite the seeming impossibility of the existence of Free Will in a Universe created by an omniscient God, the choice is entirely up to you.

5Silicone Tie Wraps  Apr 05, 2011 By Julie A. Trowbridge
These actually work. Thought I might have trouble undoing them after using them, but they work fine. Besides using them on food bags, I have been using them on my electric cords for my Ipod, DS, etc. to keep them organized. Very please with this product.

5Hold very well  Jul 10, 2010 By SCShopper
I needed a filler item and bought these. They are easy to use and seem to hold the bag, even a stiffer hard plastic one, tightly. Since they are silicone I expect that they will hold up very well in the freezer. This was a good buy.
