Just the usual absent-minded type of person - which, of course, is bad in the kitchen. But now I can be sure of not burning down the house or at least not ruining any more pots. I can't abide whistling tea kettles, so this was a great find. And if there is a simple design, tell me, because the simpler is always better. Thanks.

By Gorg I had one of the pot minders and one day it grew legs and walked away. I looked for months trying to find another but did not know the actual name of the pot minder. I found this by chance and I am sooo happy! It really works in keeping your pots from boiling over!

By Ladyloo I have ruined a handful of cooktops letting milk boil over and burn. This thing totally works! It's fantastic. It does make a little noise in the pot, but that works well for me because it keeps me from forgetting about whatever I have on the stove.

By farm wife Order with confidence...this handy little pot minder works. I remember from high school chemistry that it is surface tension that causes bubbling over...this breaks that tension. I wouldn't be without it.
