1cheap plastic  Nov 19, 2009 By Shane Magnuson
The arm and pin to the blade on this pizza cutter is plastic. Cutter worked well until the plastic pin broke. Buy one with a metal pin or bolt like the kitchenaid model.

2Broke within a year  May 13, 2010 By lovedisneyland
This worked really well till the plastic pin broke. My advice would be to buy a pizza cutter with a metal pin (the part that connects the wheel to the handle)

5Very good pizza cutter.  Jan 12, 2008 By Reanna D. Goucher "Reanna"
This is much better than I thought I would be and much cheaper than one I would of picked up at bed, bath and beyond.

2Broke Way Too Soon  Apr 29, 2012 By Pam Tee "mom,wife,fur-mom,book-blogger"
It's not like we make pizza all the time -- maybe once a month, at the most -- and yet this wheel broke in under two years. It was very sharp and worked well, but I'm used to Oxo gadgets that last for years and years, not after 15 pizzas.

Pick one of the other Oxo models and avoid this one. The plastic just can't take the pressure.

3Works fine; not durable  Feb 06, 2010 By Alan Mills
Works like its supposed to. However, after about a year of use, the plastic sleeve that holds the wheel to the handle began to loosen, and a few weeks later, fell right off. Look for one with metal..maybe a few dollars more, but should last lots longer.
