Buying products made from recycled paper helps reduce the need for virgin wood pulp, which means more trees are left standing. These hard-working paper towels absorb spills quickly, even when wet. Our white paper towels are now available in right-size half-sheets, so you can match the towel with the job. Paper towels are made of 100% recycled paper (minimum 80% post-consumer, 20% pre-consumer).

Amazon.com Paper Towel Values Oct 15, 2009
By LL Because I am insane, I decided to break down the actual costs of the paper towels that Amazon.com offers. It is hard to tell because of varying roll lengths, sheet sizes, and case quantities. In the end, I found them cheaper elsewhere, but if you are an Amazon loyalist and/ore like Subscribe & Save, you may be tempted to order them anyway. [Subscribe & Save discount shown in brackets.]
Cheapest per foot (most accurate measure of value):
SCOTT LONG ROLLS (case of 16) = $2.54 /100ft [$2.16 /100ft]
Cheapest per sheet with "regular" size (10"-11") sheets:
SCOTT LONG ROLLS (case of 16) = $2.32 /100 11" sheets [$1.98 /100 11" sheets]
Cheapest per sheet (mainly because sheets are smaller/half size):
SEVENTH GENERATION (case of 30) = $1.32 /100 5.4"sheets [$1.12 /100 5.4" sheets]
All, with analyses, below---
GREEN FOREST (case of 30) = $40.85 [$34.72 with Subscribe & Save]
65 sheets/roll (8.5") x 30 rolls = 1950 sheets = $2.10 /100 sheets [$1.78 /100 sheets]
65 sheets/roll (8.5") x 30 rolls = 1430ft = $2.85 /100ft [$2.43 /100ft]
KLEENEX VIVA (case of 32) = $47.31 [Subscribe & Save not available]
? sheets/roll (assuming 10" sheets, there are 52) x 32 rolls = 1664 sheets = $2.48 /100 sheets
519.7"/roll x 30 rolls = 1385.9ft = $3.41 /100ft
SCOTT LONG ROLLS (case of 16) = $55.96 [$47.57 with Subscribe & Save]
150 sheets/roll (11") x 16 rolls = 2400 sheets = $2.32 /100 sheets [$1.98 /100 sheets]
150 sheets/roll (11") x 16 rolls = 2200ft = $2.54 /100ft [$2.16 /100ft]
SCOTT MEGA CHOOSE-A-SIZE (case of 24) = $48.34 [$41.09 with Subscribe & Save]
102 sheets/roll (7.3") x 24 rolls = 2448 sheets = $1.98 /100 sheets [$1.67 /100 sheets]
102 sheets/roll (7.3") x 24 rolls = 1489.2ft = $3.25 /100ft [$2.76 /100ft]
BOUNTY EXTRA SOFT BIG ROLLS (case of 24) = $53.46 [Subscribe & Save not available]
64 sheets/roll (10.4") x 24 rolls = 1536 sheets = $3.48 /100 sheets
64 sheets/roll (10.4") x 24 rolls = 1331.2ft = $4.02 /100ft
BOUNTY REGULAR (case of 30) = $43.54 [Subscribe & Save not available]
52 sheets/roll (11") x 30 rolls = 1560 sheets = $2.79 /100 sheets
52 sheets/roll (11") x 30 rolls = 1430ft = $3.05 /100ft

Exellent Paper Towels Feb 14, 2009
By Kim Ewell These paper towels are perfect. They are strong and don't tear. I love the three size sheets in one for the "right size job."

These will rip every time, guaranteed Dec 30, 2008
By Scott Pros:
- Fairly cheap.
- Environmentally friendly
Cons:
- Poor quality. I have gone through at least 50 rolls of these things and never once pulled a sheet off the roll without ripping it (unless I hold the perforation with one hand while ripping carefully with the other). These are not strong paper towels at all. For the price, I'm okay with that and will continue to purchase them, but make sure you're aware before ordering.

Great Product Feb 08, 2010
By P. Floyd
I was in the process of re-ordering toilet paper. We generally try to do the recycled products. I was curious if the brand we used was still at a good price.
I was frustrated that the # of sheets & length of the sheets were different so it was hard for me to do the comparison. I was about to build a spreadsheet to calculate the cost when I saw this review from a fellow Amazon shopper.
I feel relieved to know that I am not the only one that does this.

Why did they make them so much smaller? Jan 28, 2009
By H. Tubbs The paper towels are the same great quality but for some reason they shrunk the roll size down to about half of what it used to be making all the sheets half size sheets, so you get half the amount of towels for the same amount money as they used to charge for the larger rolls.
