Organic Detergent Feb 24, 2007
By P. A. Moed Seventh Generation is a great perfume free detergent. My only complaint is that for heavily soiled items, this detergent doesn't perform as well.

Just as good as Tide Oct 23, 2007
By et2980 We have been using this product for over a year for ourselves and two small children. It gets out stains as well as any other popular detergent, doesn't smell perfumey nor give our clothes the overwashed looked. The product doesn't give rashes, leaves clothes soft and is better for the environment as its not a petroleum based detergent. Amazon seems to have the best prices on this product.

a little goes a long way Sep 04, 2007
By 1 I really like this detergent, not only is it good for the environment, which is a good reason to buy alone because the packaging is recycable and you don't have to worry about this stuff poluting the groundwater and doing other nasty things to our environment. I find that you only need a little over an 1/8th cup. If you have an extra large load or very soiled clothes then you might need a little more, but it takes us quite a long time to get through a 4 pack. Not sure exactly but approx. 5-6 months maybe more. I find that if you soak your clothes a bit that will also help get rid of stains. This really is a good buy. Try it.

Does the Job Nov 04, 2006
By B. Petereson This laundry detergent does the job. My clothes always come out very clean. My only complaint is the smell. My clothes smell like they were washed on a rock. I now use a Downy fabric softener which helps quite a bit.

Great all around laundry detergent. Dec 27, 2007
By Malachi Eman For those who can't stand the collage of chemicals that are put in normal laundry detergents, seventh generation stands out as a savior. Do you have any allergies to your detergents? Wash with this... you might be surprised at the difference.
