1Deodorizer, not cleaner  Jan 02, 2010 By Shin-Gregg "J. Shin"
It's basically a deodorizer; smells like lemon drops. It would have been just as effective to chop up a citrus fruit and throw it down the disposal. The product just masked the odors and didn't appear to do any cleaning. The glowing reviews here seem kind of dodgy as they read like they were written by people from a marketing firm rather than actual consumers.

5Easy to use, Smells FRESH  Mar 27, 2007 By Valorie Spencer
I was skeptical about these when I saw them in a local store but I gave them a try and I'm so glad I did! They work great! They smell great! They are easy to use and the freshness lasts a long time. Plink one of these into your disposal before your guests arrive and your kitchen will smell as fresh as it looks.

3Okay, I guess  Mar 13, 2010 By Marvin G. Langston
I have seen these for a long time, but never tried them until now. They work okay. Maybe they clean the disposal better than a cut lemon wedge or two, but the scent can be had for much less money using lemons. And the lemon scent last longer. However, if these disinfect to some degree it may be worth it.

As to shipping, etc. all was perfect as usual form Amazon. For me, I'll save my money and go back to lemons. Again, nothing wrong with it as it does what it says it does, but I just wasnt' impressed.

5Restores Fresh Scent to Homes Expecting Romance  Mar 15, 2007 By Brockeim "Playful Literary Adventurer"
Gone for a weekend, I found my decision to send chicken skin down the garbage disposal poor. The hallway to my apartment filled with the egregious odor as quickly as I opened the door. Inside, the matter multiplied.

My date was coming over in an hour and the waft of wretchedness wore upon my home.

Fresh, confined, deteriorating: Unlike the city dump, no birds came to eat the refuse and no wind blew a dissipated scent. Sea gulls were unavailable. The wind, with the assistance of two fans and windows opened at the east and west sides, made good work of the air. Hot water in the drain, followed by the dropping in of Plink cleaners, began the new journey to a date-worthy home.

Each is the size of a marble... one is usually enough. No chances taken here. I used three.

Plink, with its cleansing action, erased and covered the awful aroma. What became of the date, I cannot say, but know that I am a pleased Plink customer.

The next time your sink reeks of chicken gone bad, and company's on its way, try Plink.

4Easyb to use, fresh, and effective  Aug 27, 2009 By Sarah C.
I'm a big fan of these little lemon marbles. They are easy to use and fresh-smelling. It's hard to say whether they actually clean the disposal - they don't foam up the sink as other disposal products do - but they seem to legitimately freshen and deodorize, not just mask the scent. For my home, they've been extremely useful. A bonus is that after you use one, for the next few times you run hot water or turn on the disposal, the lemon scent is renewed.
