Great BBQ Turner Apr 13, 2011
By rhettinak A great heavy duty turner for the grill. The blade is big enough to flip anything you can fit on the grill and the Rosewood handle is long enough to keep you out of the heat.

Really good, but not the best ever Mar 30, 2011
By SMS First let me say that after 20+ years of superlative reviews from all who have eaten foods coming from my grill, I consider myself a grillmaster. I have used the same Christen slotted turner (haven't seen one in 15 years) for 25 years. It is light, well balanced and flexible. I've received numerous bbq sets as gifts over the years and they remain in my garage, unopened.
I bought the Lamsonsharp because it is about 4" longer than the Christen. I have a DCS grill that gets very hot and I wanted the extra length to reach burgers on the back of the grill without having my hand over the front of the grill. The Lamsonsharp does what a turner should do. It is flexible enough to slide under the meat and sharp enough to scrape any char from the grill. I would give it a five star rating, but when held at the end of the handle, it is a little top heavy.
That being said, this is the first bbq turner I have purchased in 25 years and I am glad I bought it. Since the Christen is no longer available, this is probably the best large turner on the market.

"THE HIGHLANDER"
Hi to all those of you that are sick of the hair being singged off your hand and arm, while simply flipping a burger on the grill. Someone at LamsonSharp must have burned their arm too, and decided to do something about it. How do I know? This 'Baby' is wonderfly long. The blade is wide and flexable, with a strong handle that lets you reach into the back of the BBQ without making a burger out of your arm. Good quality stainless steel and price, makes this a real winner. Happy BBQing.
