Cook For The Cure? Aug 05, 2008
By Laurel Gardens
"Gourmet Cook"
Having bought EVERY pink item in the last several months. I was dismayed to discover that none of the money was going to CFTC just because I had bought them. Seems that in VERY small print on the hang tag, there is a disclaimer. You have to go online and register the product. Only then will KitchenAid fork over the Money...... Yes for something as small as a set of measuring cups or a knife, you have to register.
Of course I discovered this long after I had thrown away the hang tags. So I went to LOWES and wrote down the UPC from the items they still stocked there. They were out of several items I have and didn't know if they were getting any more. So now I am off to the mall kitchen store. Wish me luck. Oh and SAVE those hang tags.
I am posting this same complaint on every kitchenaid item at amazon

Love this peeler Nov 30, 2006

Be cautious this is a sharp tool and does an excellent job.
I cut the end of my finger off as I was working too fast peeling
the cucumber. Excellent vegetable peeler. I still use it and love it.

Very sharp! Dec 11, 2007
By E. Vig I used this for the first time when peeling 30lbs of potatoes for a huge batch of Chanukah latkes. Man, was this sharp! It was a pleasure to use! The shape was nice, it didn't have an odd protuberance that some of them have between the blade and the handle, and I had to be careful not to cut myself. :)

I totally love this peeler. It's sharp and easily angles while peeling, which makes necessary peeling easier to accomplish. I want two just in case something possibly happens to the other. Oh, and most important it's a dashing pink.
