Style in the Kitchen. Aug 08, 2007
By bluetiffanyheart I am 25 and have spent a lot of time this summer learning how to cook, how to use particular utensils, and I must say this completes the look. If you are looking for a cute apron for any woman on your list - you will not be disappointed. I own it in holiday red - and have received many compliments. I am a size 10, and it fits comfortably - flattering without making one look wide in the hips. I recommend!!!!!!

4 Star cute...1 star function..0 stars quality/cost Feb 19, 2010
By Puppluv I was looking for an apron for my niece who is almost a teenager and just started cooking (tall for her age and where's adult size clothes, no longer junior/kids). I wanted something cute/pretty and flattering rather than the typical big boxy apron that you wouldn't want anyone to see you in. I was horrified at the prices of the only line of attractive aprons - this line and so went with the basic black because it was the cheapest of the pretty aprons-but still a whopping $18. I figured if it wasn't as nice as I thought it would be that I could keep it and get her another one. I'm so very glad I didn't get my own at the same time and spending a ridiculous $32 on the other black and white one that I liked the most - the price was just too high to get one for myself.
I was so close to getting both figuring they were good quality aprons, thank goodness I didn't. It's cute/pretty/attractive and looks flattering but it is so thin that it would be terribly see-through if it wasn't jet black. If you hold it to the light, it's obvious. If you drip any liquid on this your clothes underneath are history. I got a better quality apron for $4 over 5 years ago that's still going strong - not attractive but functional and quality fabric.
Not to mention the bib portion - though the shape is attractive, gives little coverage/protection. If you are petite, this will fit because the top and bottom tie in the back so you can make it much smaller, very easily, though it will be longer for you of course. If you have a generous body, it's worth a try but it's not the size in width as any kind of apron I've ever had which should go around the sides of my too. I'm a size 8 -the fits good but I wouldn't go any smaller.
Rough, thin, scratchy fabric - not smooth cotton, not heavy-duty real apron fabric. For this price I am horrified and for the price of all the others in this brand - absolutely NO WAY!!!
Now I want the same pretty, flattering aprons in a smoother, heavier or thicker fabric that has a similar cut, similar style but fabric meant for cooking!!!!!!!!!! I'll pay the $18-35 of this line if they can be used for cooking and look nice but just to look nice? No thanks!

I love this apron Feb 22, 2008
By jbot I like everything to be pretty and functional...and this apron is. It's so cute, it makes me feel like a 1950's housewife when I wear it.

The Little Black Dress Apron Feb 07, 2008
By KatetheGreat

I bought this for a friend of mine who wanted an apron for the holidays. At our gift exchange with friends, I gave this to her and all the girls raved. I just couldn't resist getting her this flirty, sexy apron that looked nothing like the 1950's housewife style apron that I was picturing in my head. It turns out, according to my friend, it is also of great quality and a good weight/material for cooking.

Adorable! Apr 16, 2009
By Amber Gin This is a very cute apron, though the fabric is thinner than I anticipated. It's definitely not for anyone remotely petite. It seemed quite large/long for me(I'm average, I think, at 5'4", size 6/8) and I had to play with it a bit to make it work. But the neck straps are adjustable, and the waist straps will at least hold it in place - if not making it fit as closely as you like. Still...very cute. I'm eyeing the cherry-patterned one, too.
