HotSpot Silicone Pot Holder Nov 28, 2005
By Shopper Beth

This is a terrific multi-function pot holder. Not only does it wrap around hot pot handles, it can also be used as a trivet, a jar opener, a protective table mat, a plant mat, and a mat under a mixing bowl to keep it from sliding. It rinses clean. I love it!

I bought these for my brother and he loves them. Now my daughter inlaw wants a pair for christmas. My sister has the glove and she loves hers, they are the best pot holders ever.

HotSpot silicone pot holder/trivet Jul 12, 2009
By JCPewter Use these all the time; they definitely prevent hot pots, etc., from damaging whatever's underneath. Recommend highly.

No burning Dec 08, 2009

This is just what I hoped for. It functions as a quick trivet if I take a dish out of the oven or find something boiling over. It doesn't get wet with steam, like the cloth ones. (as often happens when I lift jars out for canning). Best of all, it won't burn if I accidentally leave in on a hot burner, which is what happened to my last hot pad. However, it is not lower priced than in the regular stores, so don't buy it if you don't have free shipping and handling.
a bit too thick Feb 07, 2012
By schatz i really love the color, but they are a bit too stiff. i have now seen some in the store and, if they were yellow, i would have gotten those instead. i still use them and enjoy them. if you don't care about the color, look at thinner ones.
