Where have you been all my life? Dec 24, 2006
By McG' I'm a grandma so I have lots of decades of baking under my belt & I was one with my beautiful heavy fruitwood rolling pin. I now use it to crush walnuts & pecans. I LOVE this rolling pin. Even with the wood pin I didn't use the handles as I could manipulate it better by pressing on the solid part. Now this new pin is perfect. It, as stated, does not stick or you can roll a (floured) item, run/pass your hand back and forth once to lightly flour it (if nec-passing over the pin quickly fingers all the way around between rolls) Pressing down on it is softer on your hands than when you have to heavily roll with the hard wooden one. It is a satisfying long length and such an easy cleanup! I love it. Brilliant!

Terrible product Jun 12, 2010
By Wilbur Goltermann When I bought this in November 2009 I thought that I would get lifelong performance for the $32.99, but I was dead wrong. This product has a silicone sleeve over a solid plastic center. Within seven months the sleeve developed a split along nine inches of it's length It was rendered useless!
The claim that the silicone rolling pin would be easier to keep clean than a wood pin also proved incorrect. A wood pin is absolutely no harder to keep clean, and is a boatload cheaper.
Instead, go to Bed Bath and Beyond and buy their $[...] rock maple french rolling pin (see it at [...]). Not only will this last for my lifetime, but will probably serve generations to come - there is nothing to wear out!!

A Breeze to Roll Dec 23, 2009
By K The weight of this rolling pin makes rolling out even cold, hard dough easy. The butter cookie dough I rolled today did stick, but a dusting of flour solved that problem. This rolling pin is far better than a traditional pin with handles, it rolls out the dough evenly and quickly. Love it.

Love it! Oct 12, 2005
By E. WALLACE I love this rolling pin. It is a great size and weight. And it really doesn't stick. I wasn't sure I was going to be able to get used to this style, but it took no time at all. I love it.

nice weight & does not stick Mar 16, 2009
By H. Lavender This has enough weight to make the job easier, and doesn't stick--even to sticky cookie dough!
