great tea pot Aug 25, 2010
By tea lover I had been looking for a large teapot on and off for several months and finally selected this one. This has become my new favorite teapot. It does tend to drip a bit when pouring, but I've never had a large teapot that didn't drip. I didn't understand until I used it how helpful the handle at the front of the pot would be, it makes it much easier to pour from the full pot.

Great Teapot Nov 18, 2010
By H. Chevere I got this in basic white and it looks great. Great design, and as another reviewer wrote, the handle in front make it easier to pour.
I love that I could leave in on the range on simmer and drink throughout the day if I wanted or to keep it warm for long gatherings.
It's my first day with it and I am pleased.
Update 10/10/2011:
Just got the Cobalt one because the lid broke on the white one (accident)and it's great. It looks more on the purple side than blue, which is slightly disappointing, but that's alright. It is the biggest teapot I've found so far and it DOES come with the front handle. Great economical teapot.

Best teapot Feb 07, 2011
By marjort I have been searching for a good everyday teapot that makes enough tea for me. I don't drink coffee, and the little bitty teapots I have found are too small, too low fire so they stain, and just all around not real teapots. This one is perfect, very good size, the design is perfect - and the glaze is true high fire porcelain so it does not stain and can stand up to everyday use. And it isn't hundreds of dollars it is a very affordable price. Finally a real teapot for a real tea drinker.

Cobalt Blue 75-ounce teapot Jul 26, 2011
By Ladd I can confirm that Cobalt blue teapot DOES have the small handle in front to aid in pouring, despite the photos of the blue pot clearly showing it doesn't have a handle.
Pretty much everything else other reviewers have stated is true -- the lid is a plain lid, not one with an integral infuser. The spout does have a tendency to drip when ceasing pouring. Not always, but more often than not.
FWIW: the separately-purchased ChaCult stainless steel fine-mesh permenant filter (large) fits the opening of this teapot perfectly.
