By Chris It's glass, which is nice, and you pull up on the top to get the straws. Unfortunately, it doesn't hold the normal bendy straws that people use. It only has room for the somewhat shorter and ridid straws. It's also hard as heck to get them crammed down under the lid!

By Michele P. This is made of a nice solid-feeling glass. It looks cool out on the counter and when people see it, they're like "oh, I want one of those!"
I almost gave it 4 stars because it could be maybe 1/2-inch taller to accommodate taller straws. But really it works just fine, so 5 stars it is!

By James E. Stark Product pretty much as shown - they need to add that 9" straws will NOT fit. Overall height suggests that they will. However, not bad for the $$

By CT I've wanted a straw dispenser in such a long time and was very excited to get this in the mail. I like it a lot, but it was smaller and shorter than I expected. I have to bend the straws I currently have to fit inside.
