Great Insulator for Water Bottle Nov 05, 2007
By L. T. Ellis Purchased this to insulate our Klean Kanteen, 1 liter bottles. It works great! Just the right size for these stainless steel bottles. Keeps them cold but also provides some shock absorption if they are dropped. They look good as well. Would definitely buy more and our ten year old is angling for a striped one. Oh yeah, they probably work really well for wine bottles as well!

Finally a fun chic way to get wine to a restaurant. Aug 07, 2011
By Picky Parker Lately there have been a ton of new good restaurants that allow you to Bring Your Own wine but I always feel odd walking down the street with a bottle of wine. This is a great durable solution that is also very functional. A 750ml fits in snugly so I am not sure how well a 1 liter would do but I will update my review once I pick up a larger bottle. In the product description it states that it keeps wine cold for 4 hours. I don't normally need to keep wine on hold for four hours but I set up a little countertop test. I left a 750ml bottle in the fridge for a couple of days, pulled it out and put it in the tote with the probe from my digital kitchen thermometer. It was a warm day but the inside temp stayed between 80 and 82 degrees Fahrenheit. After 1 hour the bottle was at 53 degrees, 2 hours 60, 2.5 hours 64, 3 hours it went up to 67 and after 4 hours it was a even 70 degrees. While 70 is good for a red it is a bit warm for a white. Then again, it was 80 degrees in my kitchen so this tote did a great job in my book.

Awesome wine tote Dec 25, 2009
By marzh Just an awesome concept in wine totes. We have a black one, but it does come in some funky colors. The tote itself (I have a single, have given the double as a Christmas present) is outstanding. We use it to go out to BYO restaurants in our area all the time-- and if we don't finish the bottle, we just cork it back up and stick it back in our carrier and take it home. The wine stays cool for a very long time and is well protected from being banged around. The only problem with it is that after drinking a bottle of wine, you have to remember to take your tote home! It's a must to own, and makes a wonderful present for wine-loving friends. Highly recommended!
