Unique glassware, nice feel in hand May 07, 2008
By A. Albright I really enjoy these glasses. They look lovely and have a very nice feel in my hand. They are nice to drink from as well!

Love these glasses! Dec 13, 2009
By Nats Just the right size for a healthy cocktail!! They look cool, fit nicely in your hand, and will not slip. The base is thicker and makes it more "bottom heavy" so it's hard to knock these over. I had friends over last night for drinks and they all wanted to know where I got these. They came very well packed for shipping by my friends at Amazon. I would recommend you give a set of these a try.

A bit too big? Apr 04, 2009

I just received these glasses and I must say that I did not expect them to be this big. I was expecting regular whiskey glasses, but they are actually quite big.. I would guess around 4 inches diameter. I am probably going to keep them though because the feel and look is quite grasping.

By verygooddog I've been using plastic glasses for way too long. A couple of weeks ago, at a party in my house, the cousin of my fiancee asked for a G&T. I poured it into one of my aging, scratched plastic glasses and handed it to him. He took it from me, inspected it closely, grinned wickedly, and said: "Life's too short to drink from plastic." Arrogant? Rude? Possibly, but it's also the truth.
Since then I've decided to upgrade my drinkware and get rid of the plastic. The Bromioli Rocco Sorgente Double Old Fashioned Glasses, Blue, was my first purchase. It's true that it's been a long time since I bought any decent glasses, but it's not like I haven't used them in other places. These glasses are just wonderful! When they're empty, sitting on the counter, they shimmer in the light. The blue lustre adds depth and (Can I say it with a straight face?), mystery. The irregular surface makes them easy to hold, even when covered with condensation. They have a solid heft, but the rim is very thin and has a great mouth feel.
To celebrate the new glasses, I made a G&T's for my fiancee and me with Fever-Tree Premium Indian Tonic Water, Bombay Sapphire and the juice from 1/2 of a lime. If you enjoy a G&T and you haven't tried Fever-Tree, you should definitely add it to your list because it makes an amazing difference in the drink. You'll also be surprised at how much better any drink will taste when you sip it from one of these glasses!
I checked the capacity, and 12 ounces of liquid comes to within about 1/2" of the top, so there's room for a soda plus some ice cubes.

Just luv the glasses, they look like hand made artisan glass sculptures. The cerulian blue color goes with any decor. The abstract glass design feels sturdy and confortable when held. Will order more to complete the set, very sophisticated
