Great price, expensive feel. May 10, 2009
By amf0001 Really reasonable for the price! Heavy solid glass ware, with a beautiful blue splash of color in it. I love the uneven (though fully rounded!) lip of the glasses. They look far more expensive than they are.
Came well packaged and none were broken. Would recommend and buy again.
Edited to add: it's almost a year later and we use them all the time when company comes over, and we often get compliments on them. I always put them in the dishwasher and it's been perfectly fine. I bought 8 originally and I think they've been a terrific find.

G O R G E O U S GLASSWARE! Jan 13, 2009
By Danny These beautiful, artisan-like glasses will not dissappoint. They are substantial in quality, a bit unusual with distinct color and irregular hand-crafted design. Wonderfully affordable. Be sure to purchase this size and not the 9 oz. I have both and these offer that little extra room that the smaller size does not. Great for citrus martinis as the citrus pulp from lime or lemon does not show through the glass.
Top-notch :)

Unbelievable Price Mar 28, 2008

I cannot believe the quality and beauty of the Bormioli Rocco Murano beverage glasses -- and at such a super price. If you like a bit of the unusual with 100% quality - do not hesitate to order these. You will not be disappointed. C

Beautiful High Quality! Mar 24, 2009

A few years ago, I found small pale green versions of this at a discount store. I "googled" Bormioli until I found these and ordered lots of them in this size and the smaller size, too. They are thick, about 1/4" but not overly heavy - very comfortable in the hand. I use the smaller ones for stemless wine glasses (just like in Italy:) and the larger for water and hot tea and anything and everything! They really don't have a machine-made feel - except for the Bormioli stamp on the bottom, you would think they were made by a glassblower since each one is unique. Kosta Boda makes a much more expensive and much less attractive version of this! These are sparkly, the KB ones are dull-looking. Get lots of them, you will want to have enough of them for a lifetime.

Nice heavy glasses. Feb 05, 2010
By dumluk I really like these glasses. Very heavy, thick glass--not the too-thin, fragile ones you would be afraid to touch. However, they are not 14 7/8 oz. as listed. They barely hold a 12 oz beer. Good beer glasses, tho. Very wide glasses--not for people with small hands.
