Mini is an understatement Jun 16, 2009
By Daddy's Princess Okay so the description did say "mini" but I didn't know that "mini" meant the size of a large cup. It's kind of cute, hence my two stars, but it is SOOOOO teeny. It would have been nice if they placed the dimensions on this website, but for future buyers (or people thinking about it) this "bucket" is the size of one of those large mugs that you can also put soup in. If the average sized man held it it would look like he had a drinking glass in his hand.

Be aware, this isn't the ice bucket for dinner parties. I hate to even refer to it as a "bucket" because its so small. Having said that, I think its perfect. Looks much more expensive that it is, though the tongs are a little flimsy. This is the ice set to bring out for your 1-on-1 entertaining. Picture it on your drinks tray, with a cut crystal liquor decanter with the matching rocks glasses. This fits right in. Makes a nice presentation.

By JuicyPeach This ice bucket is so elegant, but so small. I know when I read the discription it indicated that is was a mini ice bucket but I didn't assume what the term mini was actually child size mini. I love the quality, the appearance of this ice bucket but wish it was much larger.
It is good enough for an intimate setting of 2-3 people.

For my purpose -- to serve one guest with ice for her white wine -- this little ice bucket is perfect. It's also very pretty; nice to have showing, between uses, in china cabinet.
Not Good Quality Glass And Tongs Nov 13, 2011
By Ladybug Bear I love mini things, so my issue with this ice bucket is not the size because it's clearly indicated in the product information: it holds 32 ounces. My issue with it is the quality of the glass. It's not made of nice, clear glass. It's lower quality (murky in some spots) glass. Also, the tongs are made of extremely thin metal and kinda look old right from the get go.
