Limoncello Glasses Nov 22, 2008
By R. Parker These are wonderful glasses made in italy for limoncello. I confess we use them for other things like brandy and tequilla. They are wonderful in color and design. They are roughly 4 inches high and 2 inches in diameter. If you want to make your own limoncello I found a wonderful unique recipe for it called Lavender Limoncello, serves 30.
Ingredients 12 lemons, or a mixture of lemons and limes, peels only 3 springs lavender 2 liters light rum or vodka 6 cups sugar 3 cups water
Directions 1. Lemon (or mix of Lemon and Lime) peels only, Lavendar and rum or vodka in a container for 4 weeks. 2. Strain mixture into a decantor or other container 3. Mix sugar and water in a medium saucepan and bring to a boil, reduce the heat and simmer until the sugar has dissolved. Let cool, then add to mixture. 4. Chill then server in your limoncino glasses! 5. Store in the freezer for up to 1 year

The fact they come from Italy makes it even better, a friend of mine couldn't believe that I purchased them thru Amazon. The glass is a very fine one. I would recommend this very much. Gave a set as a gift to a friend of mine. I love them just as my friends do.

By Professor I am very pleased with my purchase. The glasss are heavy and therefore perfect for keeping in the freezer where they will be ready for the next limoncello serving. I also like the traditional colors for serving this drink
