Really cute snack/ice cream cups Aug 23, 2010
By bellebon I love these cute little glasses. Excellent for snack dishes at parties, or serving ice cream. They look remarkably elegant for the price---you can't beat the Italian design. I pair them with more elegant crystal and they hold their own. Be sure to HAND WASH. Sadly, I lost three in the dishwasher.

Cute but too fragile for everyday use Oct 16, 2010
By Grad student My husband and I put these on our wedding registry and received two sets of six. We now have only two bowls left. A few cracked in the dishwasher, but several others have just turned up cracked without our knowing what caused it. It's too bad -- we registered for them because they are the perfect size for desserts and snacks, and their shape makes them stackable (although stacking them may have caused some of the cracks). We wanted something nice-looking but durable and easy to clean and store. These seemed to fit the bill, but they've turned out to be too fragile for everyday use. We'll be replacing them with another product.

Great snack bowls May 15, 2010

These snack bowls are fantastic. As with other products in the Galassia line, these bowls have interlocking feet that not only make them stackable, but also make it a breeze to put them in the dishwasher and not have water collecting on the bottom surfaces. These are sturdy and elegant, and are just the kind of bowls that one would see at a high end bar, filled with salted peanuts and pretzels, making one thirsty enough to order a few more of those specialty cocktails. These are a fantastic find, Bormioli really hit the ball out of the park with their glassware products.
A note to Amazon: I have recently noticed, after purchasing the Bormioli Rocco Galassia 16 Piece Set of 10-Ounce and 14-Ounce Glasses, that you have begun using bubble-wrap packaging material for these glass products. I congratulate you for this, it really is essential that you take care when packaging fragile items such as this. Glass has a way of breaking, and with the proper care, even during rough treatment during shipment, you can ensure that the products that are ordered with travel safely from origin to destination. Thank you!

I bought these as a gift for my mother and father. Dad just had heart surgery and wants a snack bowl that fits exactly 1 cup. Mom likes pretty bowls. They were a hit and both parents are satisfied.
