Perfect for Double Shot of Espresso: Handle With Care! Sep 22, 2007
By A. Stagg My complaint about my two-ounce Bodum espresso cups was that they didn't have a handle. No such problem here. These cups are a perfect size for a double-shot of espresso. They are a perfect compliment to our Super Automatic Espresso maker. The only downside to Bodum cups like this is that they look much bigger than a regular double-espresso cup because they are dual-walled. But, your espresso will stay hot and they look VERY nice.
They are quite delicate, but have worked well in the dishwasher and have held up well overall. I broke one after dropping it, but can't blame that on the product. I'm certain I will buy a replacement.

Leaking already....! Dec 13, 2008
By Justin I read some of the reviews on these cups (with handles, without, espresso and coffee cups) and finally ordered these for 23 dollars for two cups. I was SO careful with them, never in the dishwasher----all due to the reviews that spoke of their fragility. Well, about 5 uses and the one has water trapped between the two layers of glass. I would advise against purchase; these are expensive and, even though very stylish and cool, I am a substance over symbolism guy, so they just are not sturdy and reliable enough.

Cracked Nov 30, 2008
By Christine I got this 8 months ago and I loved the design. I've used it perhaps 20-30 times so far. It broke with no reason! I've always handwashed it and I never dropped it, etc. Yesterday I drank coffee and I didn't notice anything. Today, I looked at it and the inside was cracked! A thin line to the top. I have no idea how this happened. Weird. I am baffled. I feel I can't use it anymore in case there are fine particles of glass along the crack that will get into my coffee. So that was it. After 20-30 uses!

A great looking little cup Mar 17, 2008

These cups are very pretty to look at. I bought these to use with my Senseo machine. They are the perfect size for a Senseo cup and about 2 teaspoons of cream... max.
They are a bit fragile, but not anything to worry about that much. I've been using them for a month, now and have experienced no problems. None has broken or come close and I set them down on slate countertops. I always wash them in the dishwasher. Otherwise I wouldn't say I am all that careful with them.

Great little cups! Feb 11, 2008
By Russ I searched high and low for nice coffee cups around 5 oz size to use with my Senseo pod coffee maker. The Senseo makes 4 oz cups of coffee with a bit of froth on top. These are the perfect size. And the frothy Senseo coffee looks great viewed through the clear borosilicate glass. They're contemporary and insulated, sure to draw comments from whomever you share them with. A bit pricey at $10 per cup, but they're exactly what I was looking for. I'm going to buy some more of the bodum glasses in different sizes.
