5Excellent pot, makes great coffee!  Dec 11, 2003 By CalicoSkies "CalicoSkies"
I am thrilled beyond words! I so love this little pot! It is gorgeous and so able to produce great coffee. I was able to successfully make a mocha that far surpassed any I have spent $4-5 on. This little pot is just so cool! First, its adorable, actually quite a beautiful piece. Its heavy stainless steel, has a great feel in your hands. Very well made, with the cute Bialetti logo engraved on side. Second, its extremely easy to use. Third, it makes a great cup of strong, delicious coffee! Fourth, its very VERY easy to clean. Here's how I make the best mocha and latte: follow directions on your pot for filling the bottom with water, fill the coffee filter with Dunkin Donuts ground coffee (yes, all you coffee snobs, DD coffee worked fabulously!) level with your finger, but DO NOT TAMP. Dust off edge of reservoir, screw on top part of pot. Place on med/hi NOT HIGH, heat and be careful to situate so you dont burn the handle. Stay close, cuz in about 5min it will be done. Meanwhile, place 1C milk in micro for 1.5min, then place in the Nissan stainless steel handpump frother. Pump until milk is sufficiently frothed. Add 2Tbl chocolate syrup in mugs (I used Hersheys Dark, great results) When your coffee is done, pour between the 2 mugs, then top off with about 1/3 mug of frothed milk in each. Such a simple pleasure. Too clean, just rinse with hot water and wipe dry. I'm in love with this pot!

5It's a great cup of espresso  Feb 19, 2005 By Dale Brantelli
I must say this pot makes the best espresso. Use a dark roast bean and follow the instructions. I have used a few machines, with and without pumps and the old fasion way is by far the best. On my electric range between medium and medium high it takes about 20 minutes to brew, worth the wait! Then relax and enjoy a great cup of coffee. Nice to have a taste of biscotti handy or if the mood serves you a taste of your favorite liqueur. Cleans up easy enough.

5Best on the Market  Sep 23, 2005 By Prim Optimist
I've tried the aluminum Bialetti Espresso Maker and although it works well, this one is superior. Worth the splurge--it's very well constructed, the flavor of the espresso is pure, and the elegant redesign of the espresso maker draws a lot of compliments.

5Great Espresso  Mar 22, 2006 By tarynkay
This is a beautiful little espresso maker that makes great coffee. It's just that simple. Everything works well, is constructed well, easy to clean, and comes with a really funny badly translated manual (don't worry, the instructions are still clear, just funny).

5The best expresso Pot  Sep 29, 2006 By bgarz
Bought this to replace my at least 10 year old Bialetti aluminum pot, and I am not disappointed. It makes the best expresso ever and is easy to clean. I bought this along with the Aerolatte "to go" milk frother, and have been making great cappuccinos with skim milk. It is also very pretty to look at; I love this pot!
