55 stars for the job it does, but...  Feb 06, 2010 By Steve
Well, it works great, as advertised. However, it is not the easiest thing to clean. It says you can toss it in the dishwasher (fully assembled, top rack) and that does the trick. It just seems like there are a lot of potential 'missed' spots. So I wash it VERY carefully in a sink of soapy water. A toothbrush works well to get between every little spot.

In fact, I had the 45 blade model and never really felt that it could be cleaned properly. The blades are 'stacked' next to each other in three rows. This smaller model has less blades, but it is a single row, and easier to get at. While it may sound like the more blades the better, it really doesn't take much longer to use this model. That, and it's half the price of the 45 blade unit.

5excellent, amazing product  Apr 18, 2011 By nick
Bought this gadget recently, where I first used it on a nice piece of London broil. I made many passes through the meat, and then I marinaded it with a marinade sauce for a couple of hours. Then I put it on my barbeque and cooked it like a regular steak. When the London broil was done, it tasted like a good sirloin. I'm quite impressed with it.

What is even more impressive, is that the juices remained in the steak in spite of all the piercings it went through.

I would definitely recommend it to a friend

5Jaccard Supertendermatic Tenderizer  Jan 10, 2011 By Gift Card Recipient
Have a 64 blade and a 16 blade Jaccard. Like it so well, bought several for gifts at
Christmas. Works really well on any cut of beef steak. Using it with a little
tenderizer on partially frozen meat, works wonders and I like to throw on a little seasoning
at the same time. Dishwasher safe too.
Awesome little gadget.

5wish I had gotten this years ago...  Apr 25, 2010 By K. Mongaraz "colores64"
We love this, & it works great ! No chemical taste, no extra salt, and very easy to clean, provided I do it right away (having read the reviews before I bought it, I just wash it immediately after use, as others have said it was difficult to clean if they let sit until they got around to it - no dishwasher here, as we live in an area where water is hard, and softening water wastes a LOT of water... besides, I think handwashing gets things cleaner (at least visibly?)

5Nice tenderizer  Oct 19, 2011 By R. Patterson
I like the unit, it works. It beats pounding the meat to death. It achieves the desired affect. I wish I had gotten the 48 blade unit instead. It would require 1/3 of the stamping to get the same effect.
