made me feel like a pro! Feb 04, 2008

"so many books, so little time"
I had my reservations when buying a cupcake tree but I took my chances on this one over the others I saw because it looked more sturdy and roomier for cupcakes. I love this! I was so impressed with how easy it assembled and disassembled for storage purposes. I used it for my daughter's 3rd birthday party and it was a hit. I am far from an expert cake decorater but I had so many compliments on how pretty this looked with the variety of colors and decorations on the cupcakes. I had alternated violet, rasberry, and turquoise frosted cupcakes on the stand and it looked wonderful! There is plenty of room between tiers and I had no issues with space at all. There was also no fear of tipping as this thing is very steady. I plan to use it at my son's birthday in a few weeks and have already had requests to borrow it and to bring specially decorated cupcakes to upcoming Fourth of July picnics! I am so pleased I purchased this item!

Gets the job done, but not spectacular Dec 15, 2008
By Reason The tower is very easy to assemble, and it presents a good two dozen cupcakes. It worked as advertised, but it also had a couple of shortcomings.
* The metal parts were somewhat bent up, and I needed to bend it a little to make it stand up straight.
* The layers are not spaced as much as I would have liked. We had cupcakes from a bakery, so with decorations they were almost too tall for the rack. I had to pick the shortest cupcakes for the lower layers.
* The layers are acrylic plastic and so don't look especially posh. But they do clean up easily.
Overall, it was a good purchase and a good value for the price. But it wasn't perfect

CupCake Tree Oct 10, 2008
By Audrey Chaney Wonderful product. I loved this cup cake stand, this is the first time I used something like this. At first I was hesitant about buying this stand because I was concerned about the sturdiness. Everything is fine, I really like this cake stand. And it's roomy enough for the cupcakes.

Not recommended Jul 15, 2009
By Timothy The layers are to close together. This prevents toppers and thick frosting. The plastic is thin. If you tighten it the plastic cracks.

By Amy I am disappointed with this stand. The plastic is flimsy and it looks as if it will easily scratch. It's made out of the same plastic as the disposable serving trays from the party stores. The metal spacers have marks where it looks like the metal's shiny coating is already being worn away. The are barely spaced far enough apart for cupcakes with generous frosting and in order to let my daughters tinkerbell cupcake toppers fit I am going to have to not use the 2nd biggest tier and use the extra spacer. Also, there should really be plastic washers to go between the plastic and the metal spacers. If I didn't really need it this weekend I would be sending it back. I am going to have to make due. Please don't waste your money, this isn't a good investment.
